It all starts in the invisible

In the midst of the chaos that our society is facing these days, we have to look towards eternity, trusting that the One in whom we have believed is faithful to sustain us. Our good works, nor any religion can save us. There is only one way to enter heaven, and it is through Jesus Christ the Son of God. ” For there is [only] one God, and [only] one Mediator between God and mankind, the Man Christ Jesus”. 1 Timothy 2: 5. If you want to get to Jesus, you have to get to where he is, in heavenly places. Faith in Him allows you to see what is not seen. The physical realm manifests what is happening in the spirit realm. To fix the problem that we see, we have to go to the source of the problem, in the spirit realm, what we cannot see. If all you see is what is in front of you, then you will see no more than you can see. Even scientists know that there are many things around us that we cannot see unless we have the right instrument.

“In conclusion, be strong in the Lord [draw your strength from Him and be empowered through your union with Him] and in the power of His [boundless] might. Put on the full armor of God [for His precepts are like the splendid armor of a heavily-armed soldier], so that you may be able to [successfully] stand up against all the schemes and the strategies and the deceits of the devil. For our struggle is not against flesh and blood [contending only with physical opponents], but against the rulers, against the powers, against the world forces of this [present] darkness, against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly (supernatural) places. Therefore, put on the complete armor of God, so that you will be able to [successfully] resist and stand your ground in the evil day [of danger], and having done everything [that the crisis demands], to stand firm [in your place, fully prepared, immovable, victorious]. So stand firm and hold your ground, having tightened the wide band of truth (personal integrity, moral courage) around your waist and having put on the breastplate of righteousness (an upright heart), and having strapped on your feet the gospel of peace in preparation [to face the enemy with firm-footed stability and the readiness produced by the good news]. Above all, lift up the [protective] shield of faith with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God.With all prayer and petition pray [with specific requests] at all times [on every occasion and in every season] in the Spirit, and with this in view, stay alert with all perseverance and petition [interceding in prayer] for all God’s people”. Ephesians 6:10-18.

Our battle is not against human beings, but against invisible but real enemies. The demons do not want you to know their methods, because when you find out, you have already won the battle. The enemy does not want you to know of his deceptive strategies, he wants you to think that he comes with horns and a tail, and operates subtly, covertly. Demons need a body. Your problems are the person or vehicle they use, including you, to harm you. What the enemy seeks is for you to move from the place where you are with God to his territory. The only power that Satan and demons have is the one you give them, and the power that people give them. They need permission from humans to bring disaster. People give demons permission to manage their mind and emotions, to bring them depression. Everything starts in the mind, when people begin to believe, repeat, or entertain the thoughts from the enemy, and what the voices they hear are saying, the people begin to feel it and the issue starts. What people think will lead them to the path of life or to the way of destruction. Then, demons begin their operations. Some people begin to believe that they are of a different gender, than the one they were born. Once people give demons permission, they are like cockroaches, they do not go anywhere without being fumigated, exterminated, and when people close the entrances and clean the house. The devil operates out of ignorance, consent, and cooperation. His job is to keep you away from the will of God. If you ever think that the problem is the people, or that the people are the cause of the problem, you are in trouble. People are real, but they are not the root. Strengthen yourselves in the Lord and in the power of his might, your human strength does not work spiritually. Stand firm!  The passage we read, in Ephesians 10 says it 3 times. Stay where you are, stay in prayer which is the area where the Victory has already been won in Jesus. If you walk with an impermeable clothing, it doesn’t matter if it rains, you won’t get wet. You will wear the armor of God, although there is evil around you, it will not touch you. Christ has already been crucified, but he also has resurrected, stay in that area, and stay in prayer. Because that’s the place where your victory is, hold on to the victory of the cross.

It was at the cross that Christ condemned sin in the flesh, defeated the spirit that operates in the children of disobedience, being obedient until death. At the cross, Christ forgave his enemies, and prayed for them, to demonstrate that he practiced what he preached, setting an example for us to follow in his footsteps. It was at the Cross that Jesus Christ gained access so that we can enter the presence of God at all times and places, the veil was torn so that we may enter the throne in prayer, worship, and repentance. It was on the cross that Jesus Christ shed his blood, the blood that cleanses us from all sin, and with his blood, he has purchased us, he has cleansed us and made us for our God kings and priests so that we may reign with him on earth. On the cross Jesus Christ took the place of everyone who believes, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life. It was at the cross that Jesus surrendered his will to do the will of God and to show us that the will of God the Father can be done. It was on that cross that all the decrees, and accusations that were against us, were nailed, and every time the accuser wants to blame us, those decrees speak against him. Jesus overcame all principality on the cross, exposing them publicly, and stripping them of their dominion over humanity. When Jesus went to the cross, he was wounded by our rebellions, crushed by our sins, the punishment of our peace was on him, and by his stripes we were healed. Jesus took from the enemy the keys of death and hell. But the good news is that Jesus did not stay on the cross, on the third day he rose again, and he was given a name that is above all names, so that in the name of Jesus Christ every knee shall bow of those in heaven, on earth, and under the earth, and every tongue shall confess that Jesus Christ is Lord for the Glory of God the Father.
