Talking with my college professor last night, I realized that the reason why many Christians do not enjoy the abundant life that Jesus died for, is because they are not willing to pay the price. Some of us think that we are kids and just because God is our dad he has to give us whatever we want to. But the truth is that we are adults already, therefore we have to work hard to achieve the highest goal we can in our careers and in every area of our lives. It is not going to be an easy way but if we seek God’s will for us and do our part of the job all things are going to be possible.
“This book of the law shall not depart out of your mouth, but you shall meditate on it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then you shall make your way prosperous, and then you shall have good success. Haven’t I commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Don’t be afraid, neither be dismayed: for Yahweh your God is with you wherever you go.”
