Can you discern what time are we in?
What time is it?
Where are we now?
When the first humans on earth, Adam and Eve were at the garden having fellowship with God, the atmosphere was full of the words of God,therefore, it was clean and peaceful. The birds sang with joy, everything seemed perfect. There was a time to laugh, to love and to embrace. But one small talk with the wrong person, brought about destruction in the first family. A brief conversation with a liar, and he threw into the air the particles of his poison, and his seed which is iniquity (poison of serpent, spiritual filthiness,something twisted, and evil) and contaminated the clean atmosphere of the garden, and the clean environment was corrupted, and contaminated with that deadly virus called iniquity, the first symptoms that this virus caused were: Inferiority, unbelief, and doubt, desires to get something they already had, but to get it illegally, disobedience, and fear. The entire atmosphere was covered in fear. That’s why Adam and his wife began to hide from God instead of running towards him. Satan appeared to Eve, and not to Adam, because Adam was stronger, and Adam would man handled the situation. But like any coward, the serpent approaches the softest part of us. The enemy will never offer you something that you are not interested in. He will not offer you food when you are satisfied, so it is possible that he approached Eve just a few seconds before she was going to meet with Adam to have lunch. The enemy is like a good salesman, he offers you something that you don’t even need, but make you believe that this is the thing you need to complete your life. So, from now on, you don’t have to depend on God. This wicked salesman would tell you that after you get it, that will make you happy. But the trick is that he offers you a sample like is a freebie, and he never tells you how much is that sample going to cost you. He never explains that just one little bite is going to destroy your life, your family, and your next generations. It will make you lose your position in God, and cause you eternal separation from you creator. The bubbles of iniquity that were on the serpent’s saliva, flew into Eve’s ears, then into her eyes, then into her mind, then into her hands, then into her mouth, then into her husband’s hands and mouth, finally the seed fell into the ground and multiplied somehow. The enemy had everything calculated. As soon as he dropped his poison, fear and darkness were reigning in the garden and Adam and Eve were hiding and they didn’t know why. Now, Adam and his wife were ashamed of themselves; they were not looking forward to meeting with God anymore, they were confused, they lost their identity and their position. God had to leave his place to go on a search for them, to ask the man, where are you? Why are you not in the place of authority that I placed you in? Who is taking your place now? One drop of darkness when we allow it,can get us blind. Fear make you lose contact with reality, fear sales you a story that doesn’t exist, but that become your reality if you allow it. Fear make you leave what it’s more important to run after what is not real or valuable. Fear traps you into a pit of isolation.
Because of fear and the influence of the enemy, and his evil spirits many people are not taking their place in the family, in the workplace, in ministry, in God, and in their own lives, some even confused and refusing to accept the gender they were born with. Many of them were sexually abused and have open wounds in their souls that never healed, those wounds were the doors through which iniquity, and the unclean spirits entered, now, these are ruling them from within and usurping their place. But there is a way out, it is to come to the feet of Christ Jesus, he has the power to free the captives and heal their wounded souls.
I wonder why is fear taking the place of faith in our days? Why are people so afraid? Because we have been listening to the wrong voices, watching and reading from the wrong sources. If we listen to the voice of God through his word and his true messengers, we are not going to be hiding from him any longer. We need to discern the times. We are living the book of Revelation and getting close to the fulfillment of the prophecy of Daniel. What time is it? This is not a time of peace; we are in a time of war. In times of spiritual warfare like never before, because the enemy knows he doesn’t have that much time left. “Then I heard a loud voice shouting across the heavens, It has come at last—salvation and power and the Kingdom of our God, and the authority of his Christ. For the accuser of our brothers and sisters has been thrown down to earth—the one who accuses them before our God day and night. And they have defeated him by the blood of the Lamb and by their testimony. And they did not love their lives so much that they were afraid to die. Therefore, rejoice, O heavens! And you who live in the heavens, rejoice! But terror will come on the earth and the sea, for the devil has come down to you in great anger, knowing that he has little time.” Revelation 12:10-12. NLT.
We are to be awaken and not distracted and not spiritually asleep. There are many coming in Jesus’s name, but they are not of Jesus. We have to test the spirits if they come from God. The ministers of Satan disguised as angels of light to deceive many. We shall know them by their fruits, not by their gifts. There are fake gifts, and there are fake fruits, but the real fruit remains. Some people may fake love, joy, peace for a while but in times of warfare we will see who is in this for real, or who is just putting on a show. The time of persecution is at hand, this will separate the wheat from the tares. The wheat is crushed and processed to feed many, the tares are like an accessory. We need to train ourselves with the warfare manual, which is the word of God. We have to dress for war.
“In conclusion, be strong in the Lord [draw your strength from Him and be empowered through your union with Him] and in the power of His [boundless] might. Put on the full armor of God [for His precepts are like the splendid armor of a heavily-armed soldier], so that you may be able to [successfully] stand up against all the schemes and the strategies and the deceits of the devil. For our struggle is not against flesh and blood [contending only with physical opponents], but against the rulers, against the powers, against the world forces of this [present] darkness, against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly (supernatural) places. Therefore, put on the complete armor of God, so that you will be able to [successfully] resist and stand your ground in the evil day [of danger], and having done everything [that the crisis demands], to stand firm [in your place, fully prepared, immovable, victorious]. So stand firm and hold your ground, having tightened the wide band of truth (personal integrity, moral courage) around your waist and having put on the breastplate of righteousness (an upright heart), and having strapped on your feet the gospel of peace in preparation [to face the enemy with firm-footed stability and the readiness produced by the good news]. Above all, lift up the [protective] shield of faith with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God.With all prayer and petition pray [with specific requests] at all times [on every occasion and in every season] in the Spirit, and with this in view, stay alert with all perseverance and petition [interceding in prayer] for all God’s people”. Ephesians 6:10-18.
